After creating my last video that was themed around Urban Exploring I developed a bit of an interest in these abandoned places that have been left to rot whilst our cities change around these old decaying structures, if the walls of these dark places could talk!I came across this building that was just around the corner from my place of study and was given a permission visit on the basis that photos were used for my studies. The place of historical interest is called '41 Pilcher Gate' and was being renovated.
The building was left derelict for up to 20 years and extends over a basement, ground and two upper stories over approximately 8000sqft. It is known to be the oldest residential building in the City Centre. Built in the 17th century, this three-storey town house was part of the rich merchant's houses of Nottingham.
